Necklace of iridescent white Pearls mixed with various sizes of Smoky Quartz. These Pearls are freeform and 18-22 mm in size. There are three large puffy Smoky Quartz nuggets, four softly faceted transparant Smokies, and lots of sparkling transparent Smoky rondels for accent. This 18.5 inch necklace is secured with a gold vermeil toggle clasp. Pearl is the June birthstone. Smoky Quartz is a variant of the Quartz mineral family which ranges in color from a light gray to darker gray/brown/black and can be transparent to barely translucent. It is the national gem of Scotland, and sacred to the Druids in Celtic cultures. Hecate, the ancient Greek goddess was also associated with Smoky Quartz.
