Handmade necklace of highly polished, faceted blue Dumortierite enhanced with sparkling silver 'lava' beads and silver tone flutters. This double strand necklace is a must have for all you blue lovers. Dumorierite ranges from lighter blue to dark with some gray which you will see in this lovely selection of beads. I first became familiar with dumortierite when a friend gave me an egg of it many years ago in Brasil. I loved the distinctive blue and am always looking for suitable material to use in my jewelry. This necklace is perfect for casual dress or out to dinner. The dumortierite is 10mm, the length is 20.5 inches, and the necklace is secured with a Sterling Silver hook.
